Janey and Roger join the This Morning team the same year both hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby quit. There's been a lot of change over the past six months after Phillip stepped down for this role as main presenter in May this year after admitting to having an "unwise, but not illegal" affair with a younger male member of staff.
Holly left This Morning last month after a man was arrested for alleged plans to kidnap and murder her. In her statement, she said: "I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning. To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much. This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we've done together."
Janey and Roger's announcement comes after ITV confirmed My Mum, Your Dad will return for a second season following the success of its first run. Hosted by Davina McCall, the show will be returning to ITV for another season, with casting now open to applicants. The second series will follow a similar structure to the first, but will come with "some new twists".
