I’m A Celeb stars admit to breaking strict isolation rules and ‘sneaking out’
Some former campmates have revealed how they broke the rules on I'm A Celebrity.
Before the show, the stars are kept in isolation away from each other as producers want their introductions on camera to be as genuine as possible. But it seems that not all stars have stuck to the guidelines.
Chris Moyles welcomes fellow campmate Boy George onto his Radio X show as the pair reminisced about their time on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. However the presenter made a surprising revelation about the time where he went to find the recording artist and they spoke to each other through a “wire fence,” despite not being allowed to leave.

Speculating how the current crop of stars are feeling, which include the likes of Jamie Lynn-Spears, Nigel Farage and This Morning's Josie Gibson, Chris, 49 exclaimed: "They're now in their houses isolated from each other, and they have no idea what's about to hit them."
But 62-year-old Boy George – whose real name is George Alan O'Dowd – interjected: "Well, if they've got their phones."m Then Chris went into more details about how he broke producers rules before the show. He admitted: "I wonder if any of them have sneaked out.. to say hello to someone else.
"The very short story is, is the fact that when I was in isolation before I went into the jungle, and then George was in isolation a few days after me. I worked out where George's house was going to be and where he's going to be staying…. and you weren't allowed to leave. So obviously, one day I sneaked out."

The superstar singer then agreed as he revealed that there was even a forced separation. "The wire fence.. it was like Hollyoaks," he commented.
Chris then revealed: "I found George and I walked past and I tried to get his attention but he couldn't hear me. So I kept walking and I stepped back and I'm like, "George, Sadie" because he had Sadie with him and then I just hear Sadie go "George it's Chris" and he gets out he goes, "oh my god". And we were literally like through wire… through a wire fence talking to each other. "Well, you alright.. yeah you good?"
Both Chris and Boy George took part in the 22nd instalment of the hit endurance series last year. They were part of the crop of stars to star in the primetime show on it's return to the jungle after the Covid-19 pandemic where the camp was located in Gwyrch Castle in Wales.
Both the stars lost out to footballer Jill Scott, when George was the fourth star eliminated from camp and Chris departed camp shortly after.
The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X weekdays from 6:30am – 10am and on Global Player and I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me Out of Here! returns to ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday, November 19 at 9pm
