Holly Willoughby’s future TV plans have been ‘revealed’ following her shock exit from This Morning.
The TV star, 42, confirmed that she will not be returning to the famous blue sofa in an emotional message to fans last week. She decided to leave her job after 14 years "for me and my family”
The ITV show now looks completely different from how it did at the start of 2023. This year has also seen This Morning's other star presenter, Phillip Schofield, step away.

Since Phillip will also no longer be working on Dancing On Ice, the future of the ITV show has remained up in the air. Speculation is rife as to whether Holly could also walk away or be partnered up with a new host.
Now, a source has alleged how the broadcaster ITV has put “zero pressure” on Holly to return to Dancing On Ice. What’s more, they are said to be supporting her exit “as long as she needs.”
“Everyone around her – family, friends, and her team – all agreed that a really decent break from work would do her the power of good," the insider claimed to The Sun. They added: “ITV has assured her that there is zero pressure to be ready for Dancing on Ice, even though she remains a much-loved part of the family."
They went on: "After all, work begins on the skate show in December with shoots and promo, and nobody wants to place unrealistic expectations on Holly's shoulders and have her feel she needs to rush back, especially because nobody knows how and when the court case will proceed."
Daily Star has contacted ITV for comment.
It comes after Holly’s exit from This Morning reportedly left show staff in tears. And not because they were going to miss her.
According to reports, when her resignation letter hit social media, some staff on This Morning were left devastated. Not because they were going to miss Holly, but, according to Daily Mail, because they felt Holly had hung the show out to dry.

“It's been one thing after another," a show source reportedly said. "It's like a soap opera and that's OK if you're one of the highly-paid stars getting chauffeured to work and back, but if you're grafting behind the scenes to keep things afloat, it's incredibly frustrating."
The source went on: "Holly decides to leave, she puts it on Instagram. Imagine how that makes you feel. There were tears. The team has been through so much in the last year. Many feel they are at the end of their tethers. It has been heartbreaking, and hard, to watch it all happen."
