Emmerdale Jacob’s life in grave danger as worried Victoria makes deadly mistake

Emmerdale's Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) is left for dead next week.

At a tasting event, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) mistakenly tells Jacob that a slider is nut-free, leading to an allergic reaction.

Panic ensues after a frantic search for an Auto Adrenaline Injector and Jacob manages to indicate that there's one in his car and Victoria rushes to retrieve it.

Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) struggles while Jacob weakens. Victoria frantically searches Jacob's car but can't find the pen.

David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) learns about Jacob's allergic reaction and rushes to the hospital.

Leyla is furious at Victoria's mistake and is soon seeking revenge.

Later, Victoria admits her mistake to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), who loses potential buyers for HOP.

Leyla is shocked to find Victoria still there and threatens to ruin her business.

Gabby fires Victoria, leaving her devastated..

Elsewhere in the village, having enjoyed a romantic meal, Gail moves away from Ryan so she can furtively follow up a mysterious phone call.

After meeting a desperate woman named Sophie in the Allotment, Gail’s shaken when there’s some bad news about someone called Oscar.

Also, Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) left stunned when Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) reveals her new plan to cure her PMDD symptoms.

Soon, Cathy’s heart soars when Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) reciprocates her flirty banter.

Cathy’s pleased to confirm her date with Samson for that evening.

Meanwhile, Mandy Dingle's (Lisa Riley) increasingly concerned that there’s something wrong with Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick)

Later, whilst cleaning at the office, Lydia is terrified when Craig Reed (Ben Addis)turns up.

After pushing her to the limit with his insistence that he did nothing wrong, Lydia calls him a rapist.
