Love Island star Shaughna Phillips hits back after being mum-shamed | The Sun

FORMER Love Island star Shaughna Phillips hits back after being mum-shamed for over-exposing her child.

The reality star gave birth to her first child in April whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Billy Webb.

Shaughna, 29, regularly posts updates with her daughter Lucia onto social media.

However some viewers think that she is 'exposing' her toddler too much to her 1.4 million followers.

She posted a screenshot of a direct message that a former fan sent her, where at first they congratulated the former ITV2 star on the birth of her child.

However, when Shaughna posted another story of her tot, the user remarked: "Anything else but baby all the time."

She added: "So soz lol."

This is not the first time she has hit out at mum shamers as she was previously criticised for a 'dangerous' parenting move.

She shared a sweet snap of little Lucia trying baby porridge – and was inundated with messages insisting it's too soon.

The NHS recommends introducing a baby to solid food when they're around six months old and to never start before four months.

Explaining that Lucia is "only having a few little spoons here and there", Shaughna added: "I'm also no expert (like some out there HEHE) and every baby is different, so do whatever at your own pace and check with your midwife if you're unsure."

Hitting back at the mum-shamers, Shaughna said in a clip posted to her Instagram story: "Honestly, you would think that I've started telling people that I'm making Lucia's bottles with vodka now instead of water.

"She's trying four to six months porridge and she's just over four months, she's 18 weeks. So you can report me to the police but I think I'll get no further action, thanks huns."
