CORONATION Street fans have worked out a shock new affair plot after spotting a giveaway clue with a newcomer.
Cheating has been a regular pastime on the Cobbles over the years, and now fans think another couple are about to face the heartache of betrayal.
In recent episodes, Asha Alahan has been training to become a paramedic, and is being mentored by newcomer Isla.
During Wednesday's episode of the ITV soap, Asha and Isla met for dinner in the Bistro, with Asha bringing along girlfriend Nina too.
But despite her clearly being in a relationship for the past two years, Isla was rather flirty with Asha during the meal, which an unimpressed Nina appeared to pick up on.
It has prompted some Coronation Street fans to speculate that Asha will embark on an affair with Isla behind Nina's back.

Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one wrote: "I see a cheating storyline coming up."
Another added: "Asha is gonna end up breaking Nina's heart isn't she."
A third tweeted: "Asha fancies Isla, doesn't she?"
However, the storyline wouldn't go down well with Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha, if it were to happen.

She previously told What to Watch: "We don't need a cheating story. Not everyone needs to cheat in a relationship.
"But it's a soap, we need the drama, we need something. But cheating should not be on the cards. Let's hope that's not the case."
Indeed, Corrie already has one cheating storyline on the go, with Daisy Midgeley torn between fiance Daniel Osbourne and former flame Ryan Connor.
And earlier this year, Sarah Barlow cheated on husband Adam with bad boy Damon Hay, leading to their marriage breaking down.
Coronation Street airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
