BBC’s Victoria Valentine wows in shorts and sports bra after career news

BBC Breakfast presenter Victoria Valentine sent her fans wild as she shared a stunning snap of herself walking her dog in her gym gear.

Victoria, 39, made the most of the sunshine as she wowed in a black sports bra, vest top and shorts as she walked down a country lane.

She bent down to share a cute snap of her dog Athena as she smiled for the camera, and fans quickly rushed to compliment her

Victoria showed off her fresh-faced beauty as she opted for no make-up and tied her hair back away from her face.

She later paid a sweet tribute to her co-stars Ben Thompson, Tomasz Schafernaker and Naga Munchetty after announcing she is stepping back from the show.

Victoria took to social media after the news to share pictures of herself with her friends, as she wrote: "One thing I’ll miss is the people.

"These three are just wonderful. And all happen to be on air right now.

"Brilliant broadcasters, pin-sharp journalists & generous, compassionate friends."

"What a stroke of luck to come to know @TVNaga01 @BenThompsonTV & @Schafernaker."

Victoria's followers quickly rushed to the post to say goodbye to the star, as one said: "Gonna miss you on the screens – please keep the social media coming – it’s a joyous thing watching you bring a ray of talented light into the world with your perspective – and thank you for the last decade on our screens."

Another added: "Don't ever lose contact with the wonderful friends you have made Victoria. Friends are so precious as I am pretty sure you know. Enjoy your time back at university. You will breeze it Victoria ."

Victoria's decision to leave the BBC comes as she has decided to go back to university.

She confirmed the news when messaged by a fan, who penned: "Good morning Victoria. Great to see you on breakfast TV. Sadly I think this is the last time for you to brighten our morning.

"Have a good day and again best of luck and enjoy your next chapter studying. Hopefully, we may see you on TV later in your life."

She responded: "It is indeed my last @BBCBreakfast shift."

BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am on BBC1.
