Serena Williams claims Prince Harry solves all her problems
Serena Williams has just given birth to a beautiful baby – and she could have a very famous godmother.
The tennis ace has gave birth to her second child with her husband Alexis Ohanian, after announcing the exciting news via Instagram on Tuesday.
The couple uploaded an adorable video together to their social media, where they were joined by their five-year-old daughter Olympia and their newest arrival, Adira River.
“Welcome, Adira River Ohanian,” Alexis wrote on Twitter along with a series of photos. “I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama.”
With the arrival of her second baby, many fans are speculating whether Serena could make Meghan Markle Adira’s godmother.
But why have some fans been led to believe this?

The tennis ace is a long-time friend of Meghan and has even grown close to her husband Prince Harry.
Over the years, Meghan has frequently been spotted in the stands supporting her pal at big tennis matches and would later play a big role in helping to convince Serena to retire from the sport.
Serena has similarly shown support for Meghan after she helped organise and co-host her baby shower in New York back in February 2019.
The tennis champion also appeared in the couple’s Netflix docuseries, where she spoke about being a guest at their wedding in 2018.

Serena said: “To have her culture represented at that wedding. Amazing, I loved it. I thought it was really courageous breaking boundaries but not trying to.”
It’s also believed Serena’s daughter Olympia is a playmate of Archie and Lili.
Serena is yet to confirm or announce who will be Adira’s godparent.
But that leaves the question of why Meghan didn’t grant Serena the title of being Archie’s godmother.
The Wimbledon champ ruled herself out of the running when asked about becoming a potential godparent to the Sussexes firstborn at a Wimbledon press conference after she beat Kaja Juvan.
When asked if she would be attending Archie’s christening that took place on July 6, 2019, Serena revealed: “No, I’m working on Saturday. But, yeah, so she [Meghan] understands work.”
At the time of the ceremony, Harry and Meghan decided to not announce who Archie’s godparents were.
It wasn’t until the following year it was revealed that Prince Harry’s childhood nanny, Tiggy Pettifer (formerly Tiggy Legge-Bourke) was the first godparent with the second being ex-royal aide and Harry’s close friend, Mark Dyer.
