Sophie Turner shocked fans when she stepped out with Joe Jonas’ ex Taylor Swift last week, but it seems she has another wing-woman who, until now, has gone relatively unnoticed.
Amid her bitter divorce from singer Joe, 27-year-old Sophie has been seeking solace in Australian actress Olivia DeJonge, 25.
The pair have been pictured together on several occasions since the Game of Thrones alum arrived in New York City following the news that she and Joe, 34, had called time on their four-year marriage.
All eyes may have been on Taylor, 33, who enjoyed a night out with Sophie in Manhattan on September 18 just hours before it was revealed she is suing Joe in the hopes of moving their daughters back to their native United Kingdom – but Olivia has been a permanent fixture.
Most recently, the two women were all smiles when they stepped out together in Tribeca on September 27 to grab drinks from Bubby’s restaurant on Hudson St.

Mother-of-two Sophie kept things casual in a pair of high waisted blue denim jeans and a gray crop top and baby blue Nike sneakers.
Olivia looked comfortable in a pair of loose-fitting pants, an oversized navy blue sweater and a checked scarf as she carried a large tote bag and appeared to be wearing minimal makeup.
Last week, the two ladies enjoyed a couple of nights out in the city with Bad Blood hitmaker Taylor – who enjoyed a short-lived romance with Joe back in 2008.
Olivia stayed close to Sophie as they emerged from the Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York after enjoying dinner with the singer and some other female friends.
And a couple of days earlier, the women were pictured out on the town yet again as they partied in Manhattan until 2am.
As Sophie and Taylor emerged from Italian restaurant Via Carota arm-in-arm, Olivia exited shortly after them and kept a low profile in her casual attire.
But who is Sophie’s new BFF? And how did her and Sophie end up being so close?
DailyMail.com takes a look at Olivia’s rise to fame and how her friendship with the redhead star blossomed.

Olivia is a 25-year-old actress born in Melbourne, Australia, who is best known for her roles in the ABC1’s Hiding and the short-lived Netflix series, The Society.
At the age of five, Olivia moved to Perth, Western Australia, with her parents Robyn and Rob, who are investors in the property and IT sectors.
She landed her first acting opportunity, aged eight, as a radio voiceover for a prominent hardware chain.
She went on to become a sought-after young voiceover specialist, with more than 40 radio advertisements to her name.
In 2010 Olivia was offered the lead role in Maziar Lahooti’s short film Good Pretender and went on to win Best Actress at the 24th Western Australian Screen Awards for her performance.
Four years later she made her feature film debut in The Sisterhood of Night – a mystery thriller film directed by Caryn Waechter – and in 2015, she landed a major role in the Australian television drama series Hiding.
She also played the co-lead, Becca, in M. Night Shyamalan’s horror film The Visit, and the following year starred in two other horror movies: Scare Campaign and Better Watch Out.
Speaking to the West Australian in 2015, Olivia said a desire to be an actress had ‘always been inside of me’.
‘When I was younger I did lots of plays, put on shows for Mum and Dad, made my brother dress up in ridiculous tutus and whatnot to perform in front of them. I think my pre-primary report was like “Has a flair for drama” — it was just a little side note.
‘It’s always been there. I think it’s a means to self-expression for me. Somewhere I can find myself, if that makes sense.
‘People like to play netball, people like to play the piano. My thing’s acting.’
She is perhaps most recognizable for her role in Netflix series, The Society, in which she played Elle alongside Kathryn Newton, Gideon Adlon, and Sean Berdy.

Although the series was initially renewed for a second season, it was ultimately canceled owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. But Olivia’s career went from strength-to-strength, with the actress landing a role in 2022’s true crime drama series The Staircase.
That same year she also got the chance to portray Priscilla Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic, in which Austin Butler played the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Olivia drew praise from critics, who applauded her acting skills and her ability to match 32-year-old Austin’s charisma.
Next up, she will star alongside Stranger Things actor David Harbour in The Trashers, which tells the story of the rise and fall of Jimmy Galante, a garbage tycoon from Danbury, Connecticut, and partner of the Genovese crime family.
Olivia has been fairly quiet on social media recently and last posted on Instagram on July 30 with a photo of her friend wearing a black and white T-shirt emblazoned with the words ‘Talentless but connected’.
Her 398,000 followers were quick to comment on the post with many gushing over Olivia, with one person writing: ‘Love your movies.’
Another fan commented, ‘definitely not talentless Your acting is awesome,’ while a third added: ‘Babe you are talented!’

OIivia and Sophie starred alongside one another in the 2022 true crime miniseries The Staircase, with their friendship clearly going from strength-to- strength.
The actresses played stepsisters – Olivia as Caitlin Atwater and Sophie took on the role of Margaret Ratliff in the eight-part series which is based on the 2004 true crime docuseries of the same name created by Jean-Xavier de Lestrade.
The Staircase also stars Colin Firth, Toni Collette and Patrick Schwarzenegger, and when speaking to Vogue Australia, Olivia described the cast as ‘insane’ and said: ‘It was such a masterclass in acting and holding yourself on set.’
The pair clearly bonded outside of the shoot and even celebrated Halloween 2021 together with Joe. Sophie dressed as Lizzie McGuire while her now-estranged husband went as Paolo Valisari, and Olivia transformed into Isabella Parigi – both characters from the hit Disney series.
Months after The Staircase aired on HBO Max, the ladies were spotted hanging out together at events such as the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, and also at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in March 2023.
Last month, Olivia accompanied Sophie to the opening show of the Jonas Brothers world tour at the Yankee Stadium in New York and the pair were caught on camera dancing away as the boyband came onstage.
However, just weeks later Sophie and Joe had split and she confirmed their separation with a statement on Instagram.

It read: ‘After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually agreed to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.’
As the couple thrash out the details of their divorce they have also been working on the custody arrangements for daughters Willa, three, and Delphine, 14 months.
Sophie has sought to return their children to England after accusing Joe of withholding their children’s passports. In recent days the pair agreed to an interim consent order that bans both parties from removing the kids from the state.
While the couple live in New York, Sophie had long expressed a desire to return to her hometown during their marriage.
It was revealed this week that she had initiated proceedings in a British court as she seeks to return her two children to England.
It’s the latest development in the couple’s bitter divorce saga and could likely further complicate the case that is now being handled by three different courts across two countries.
