Cops Charge Jenelle Evans' Husband David Eason With Child Abuse In Jace Evans Case!

David Eason has been charged with child abuse in the much-followed case involving wife Jenelle Evans‘ 14-year-old son, Jace Evans.

Of course, Jace has run away from the family’s rural North Carolina home several times in the last few months. After Child Protective Services began to investigate the runaway incidents, word came that cops were looking at possible child abuse charges against David and/or Jenelle. And now, according to a new report, those charges have finally come.

Per TMZ on Tuesday afternoon, Eason has been charged with misdemeanor child abuse. The legal move came about after the police and CPS reportedly came across doorbell camera footage of an incident involving Jace and the Teen Mom 2 alum’s husband. Beyond that, though, there isn’t a ton of new information available about the bombshell. David’s charge is official, and it is a misdemeanor, but further details are currently unknown.

Interestingly, the outlet also notes that while Jenelle has not been charged, there is “a possibility” that the reality TV alum could “eventually face charges as well.”

Whoa…

Sounds like more information will soon come out regarding the specifics of David’s charges, and whether Jenelle ultimately has to face her own legal repercussions. For now, this is a seriously unsettling but important development. Ugh.
