Why did Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde split?

Olivia Wilde, 38, and former husband, Jason Sudeikis, 46, announced their split at the end of 2020 – revealing they secretly broke off their engagement at the start of the year but kept it under wraps for months.

They had been together since 2013 after meeting when Sudeikis worked on Saturday Night Live.

The two are co-parenting their two young children Daisy Josephine, 5, and Otis Alexander, 8.

Recently, Sudeikis had an emotional new interview with GQ and admitted about his split: "I'll have a better understanding of why in a year, and an even better one in two, and an even greater one in five, and it'll go from being, you know, a book of my life to becoming a chapter to a paragraph to a line to a word to a doodle."

What happened to Wilde at CinemaCon 2022?

Wilde was served with custody papers by her ex-husband while onstage at CinemaCon on April 26, 2022.

The actress was handed the legal documents by an unknown person while she was speaking at the Las Vegas event.

The envelope, which was marked “personal and confidential," interrupted Wilde as she discussed her new thriller movie Don’t Worry Darling.

The interaction was clearly unexpected, as Wilde asked: "This is for me?"

Wilde look flustered when she realized the envelope did not contain a script, as she had inferred, but actually custody papers.

Sudeikis had no prior knowledge Wilde would be served while at CinemaCon, a source told Variety.

“Mr. Sudeikis had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope would have been delivered as this would solely be up to the process service company involved and he would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner.”
