Sally Nugent was missing from her usual slot on BBC Breakfast on September 5, 2023.
It is not known why she was away.

Sally was on the sofa with Ben Thompson on Monday, September 4, 2023, after enjoying a holiday in Spain.
However fans were left wondering where her usual co-host Jon Kay was.
On Sunday, September 3, 2023, Sally told her fans on Instagram that she was returning to BBC Breakfast the following day.
She posted: "There are no prawns left in San Sebastián. I think we have eaten them all.
"Back on the @bbcbreakfast sofa tomorrow [Monday] from 6.

On September 5, 2023, Jon Kay reported live from Portsmouth, and was joined by Carol Kirkwood, while Ben Boulos was on the sofa with BBC journalist and newsreader Tina Daheley.
Tina is known for reading the news on The Radio 2 Breakfast Show with Zoe Ball.
Her other work includes BBC News At Ten and BBC News At Six.
In 2019 she became the voiceover presenter of Points Of View.
