What Do Russ And Paola Mayfield From 90 Day Fiance Do For A Living?
“90 Day Fiance” is probably the best show on television. Not probably, definitely. For those who have never had the privilege of tuning in, “90 Day” tells the story of often very mismatched couples as they try and decide whether or not to get married before their three-month fiance visa runs out. As you can probably imagine, they have a lot of problems. We’ve seen everything from Russian dancers trying to adjust to life on a Virginia farm to wildly inappropriate business ventures to full-on fistfights. The cringe never stops.
Now that you have the basics, we can talk about Russ and Paola Mayfield. Unlike many “90 Day” couples, Season 1’s Russ and Paola made it down the aisle and are still happily married as of this time of this writing. They had a bit of a rough start, but these days Paola and Russ are doing well. They have a son, Axel, and are busy living it up in Miami.
How do Paola and Russ spend their time now that they’re bonafide reality stars? How do they earn a living now that they’re in the public eye? We break it down below.
Russ and Paola Mayfield keep busy
Since joining the original cast of “90 Day Fiance,” Paola Mayfield’s career has really taken off. Paola is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach and professional wrestler, per Cheat Sheet. She has two Instagram accounts, one personal and one dedicated to her personal training business, where she posts short workout videos, photos of her meals, and motivational quotes. However, we would be remiss if we didn’t point out that Paola likely makes a big chunk of her income by capitalizing on her social media fame. The reality star has over 1 million followers on Instagram and has turned that number into a full-fledged business. A quick scroll through her feed will reveal a treasure trove of sponsorships, like this one for weight loss shakes or this promotional AirPods giveaway.
As for hubby Russ Mayfield, he keeps busy too. According to his Linkedin, Russ worked in engineering until 2018, when he left his job as a field engineer at Pure Technologies. What does he do these days? That’s less clear considering that his LinkedIn hasn’t been updated since he left his last job. However, he has over 300,000 Instagram followers – enough to cash in on his popularity — and he and Paola have regularly appeared on the “90 Day” spinoff “Happily Ever After” (hello, residuals), as well as other TLC spinoffs. Long story short, Russ probably doesn’t need a full-time engineering job anymore since he can slow down and cash in on all his relationship drama with Paola.
