This Morning viewers slam ‘annoying’ advent calendar segment in September show

This Morning viewers have slammed an "annoying" advent calendar segment being broadcast in a September episode.
Today's show (September 29) saw the ITV daytime programme welcome Sarah Jossel to the programme to host a "The Best Beauty Advent Calendar segment", despite it still being September.
A Christmas tree was also put up in the This Morning studio, horrifying both This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield and viewers watching at home .
Joining Phil and his co-host Holly Willoughby, Sarah said: "The Christmas tree is up in the studio.
"It might feel like [Christmas is] a long time away but the best beauty advent calendars are available now or coming soon, so we're going to show you the best savings and the best products."

An unhappy Phil exclaimed: "It's not even October"
Holly, meanwhile, seemed to have a more open mind.
She said: "I don't care. I'd have it all year round. Doesn't feel wrong."
This Morning viewers were also quick to slam the "annoying" segment.
One wrote: "Christmas tree up in September [facepalm emoji]."

Another said: "They're on about advent calendars on #ThisMorning already. We're still in fecking September, will ye cop yourselves on ffs???? [sic]"
A third commented: "Advent calendars in September? No. Christmas gets earlier and earlier every year and it gets annoying."
On the other side of the argument, one viewer reasoned: "I am the same as Holly.

Beauty advent calendars have become a trend over recent years with many health stores and beauty brands releasing their own versions of the product.
This Morning airs from 10 am weekdays on ITV.
