THE One show viewers slammed Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon's interview after a joke was not received well.
Thursdays edition of the BBC show saw presenter, Alex Jones,45 and Ronan Keating, 45 speak to Duran Duran singer, Simon Le Bon about the band being put into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
But things took a bit of an awkward turn when Ronan introduced the topic of Aston Villa Football team.
The One Show host, brought up the news of the football club recently signing the popular 19-year-old striker Jhon Duran.
Ronan began: “Birmingham holds a very special place in your heart, you guys got to perform at the Commonwealth Games, the opening ceremony which was amazing.
“Also, you’ve given an Aston Villa player your seal of approval, is that right?”

But the Duran Duran star, seemed a bit startled by the statement and he asked: “Have I? Which one?”
It appeared that the 64-year-old didn't get the joke and was confused about the name of striker.
After seeing a snap of John Duran on the screen, he then quickly realised, and said: "Oh right, ok yeah. That's more John Taylor (his bandmate). Actually, the villa fan in the band is Roger Taylor.
“A big fan, so he’s had a rollercoaster ride," the star added.

Simon referred to Ronan's hit song Life is a Rollercoaster, but the host didn't catch onto the joke.
As Ronan paused, he replied, "Hmm"
A few laughs were heard off camera before Simon continued: "As have most Villa fans."
On Twitter, viewers slammed the uncomfortable interview and called it a "car crash."
One wrote: "That joke clearly wasn't funny to him, Ronan."
Another penned: "The One Show tonight is an absolute car crash."
A third added: " Simon Le Bon looks so confused. Not even a funny joke!"
A fourth echoed: "I swear he looks so confused! That's so awkward."
The One Show airs weekdays on BBC One from 7pm
