The 'Jarring' 'She-Hulk' Trailer Isn't a 'Dealbreaker' For Some Marvel Fans

On May 17, 2022, Marvel released the first trailer for its upcoming Disney+ series, She-Hulk: At Law. Immediately, the trailer began circulating the internet, receiving the usual commentary of the internet. While some were excited to see Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters in action, others critiqued the visual effects shown. But as those in the industry know, what you see in the trailer isn’t always what ends up in the final product.

The first ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ trailer

As the Twitter user noted, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is still months away. The miniseries starring Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, and Tim Roth, debuts on Disney+ on August 17, 2022. Disney+ first announced the series back in 2019 at D23.

With few details available (as is Marvel’s MO), an official Disney press release shares the series will depict the character while she “navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.”

In addition to Ruffalo as Smart Hulk and Roth as his The Incredible Hulk character, the Abomination, Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange) returns as Wong. New additions include Jameela Jamil (The Good Place) as Titania and Renée Elise Goldsberry (HamiltonGirls5eva).

Created by Jessica Gao (Rick and MortySilicon Valley), She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a part of Marvel’s Phase 4. And with nine 30-minute episodes to play with, expect other MCU mentions, Easter eggs, and possibly even characters to round out the fun miniseries.
