Strictly 2023 star dealt major blow just one week before new series stars
Strictly Come Dancing star Eddie Kadi has been issued a major blow – just one week before the new series is back on TV screens.
The much-loved comedian, 40, is one of the many celebs that will be taking the iconic dancefloor this month.
Fans of the BBC ballroom show have just weeks to wait for the new series of salsa and sequins, with the much-loved show returning to our screens on September 16.

Eddie will be joined by the likes of Bobby Brazier, Les Dennis and Zara McDermott, in a bid to take home the prestigious glitterball trophy.
Judges Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas will all be returning to give their critiques and thoughts on the latest batch of celebs.
But with the new series just weeks away, radio presenter Eddie Kadi has been dealt a blow by the bookies.
In an exclusive prediction provided by BonusCodeBets, it’s claimed Eddie is the most likely star to get the boot from the glitzy show first, with odds of 5/2.
The odds put Eddie ahead of Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Les Dennis, who are at 4/1 and 11/2 respectively.
A BonusCodeBets spokesperson said: "Other than Bill Bailey's victory in 2020, comedians have had a pretty poor record on Strictly Come Dancing and therefore Eddie Kadi is the 5/2 favourite to be voted off in the first week.
"Journalist and newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy is next in line at 4/1 while Les Dennis is a 11/2 shot to be booted in week one.
Meanwhile soap star Adam Thomas is at 16/1 and Love Island beauty Zara McDermott is 20/1.
As for man of the moment Bobby Brazier, who recently bagged his first NTA award this week, he is “expected to be a fan favourite.”
The bookies added: “EastEnders star Bobby Brazier, son of Jeff Brazier and Jade Goody, is the outsider at 66/1 to leave in the first week – with the actor expected to be a fan favourite."
