Great British Bake Off star Sandro Farmhouse has created an ultimate showstopper cake inspired by this year’s top Search Trends.

Sandro, 30, shot to fame on the Channel 4 show this year and reached the final with Rehman Sharif and Syabira Yusoff, who was crowned champion last month.

His five tiered sponge has been inspired by Wordle, Stranger Things and Encanto and it includes a heart shaped Ukraine fondant flag.

It also has a mini Rice Krispie jet peeking out from white candy floss clouds to represent planes struggling to land in Storm Eunice, another top search trend.

He said: "2022 has been an incredible year for me personally, making my TV debut and has seen some historic events take place.
