Stacey Solomon reveals genius way to ‘get her kids to drink more water’ – before transforming her olive oil bottle – The Sun

STACEY Solomon has revealed a genius way of getting her kids to drink more water on hot days – "fruit cubes".

The mother-of-three "jazzed up" her ice cubes by filling an ice tray with water and clementine segments, blueberries, cucumbers and strawberries.

The Loose Women presenter, 30, shared her nifty trick on her Instagram Story and wrote: "Trying to jazz up the ice cubes – anything to make them drink more water on days like this."

She added to followers: "We are making some fun ice cubes – fruit cubes."

Stacey's hack will no doubt come in handy with her three sons, Zach, 12, Leighton, eight and one-year-old Rex.

The TV star also gave her bottle of olive oil a makeover while Rex was sleeping.

She told followers: "While the pickle is having a nap I'm going to jazz up my olive oil."

Stacey then scrubbed off the bottle's label and spray-painted the entire bottle white in her garden.

She removed the original screw-top lid and put in a pourer – bought from Amazon for 50p – in its place.

For the final touch, the X Factor alum added a sticker bearing the words 'olive oil' from her sister's label on the side of the bottle.

She enthused: "I can't explain to you how happy I am about this. I'm so in love with it."

The former X factor star has been candid in documenting just how busy her life as a mum-of-three is.

Earlier this week, she revealed she had washed her hair for the first time in seven days.

Meanwhile, Stacey admitted to using "mouldy" veg in her roast dinner as she hadn't had time to do the weekly shop.

She wrote on her page: “No fridge today because we haven’t done a food shop and I still need to use up the things we have… one mouldy veg soup coming up.”

In a later shot, the mum-of-three showed a roast dinner she had made herself, using her old vegetables.

The Essex-based mum wrote: “Mouldy veg roast, hence the spring onions.”
