Spoilers: Tracy destroyed as Nate is sent to prison in Emmerdale?

Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) was left devastated in Emmerdale tonight (October 20), as she came to terms with the fact that she might have to raise her child on her own after Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) took the rap for the hit-and-run.

The Dingle clan rallied around Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) — desperate to help in any way that they could — but with Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) having paid someone off to claim they witnessed the hit-and-run, it wasn’t looking good.

Matters were made worse when Jamie foiled Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Cain’s (Jeff Hordley) plan to find out the identity of the witness.

Nate was desperate to help — especially after he learned about Belle’s history with schizophrenia — and therefore, he offered to take the rap for the hit-and-run.

Cain, Moira and Belle attempted to talk him out of it, but he was adamant that this was the right thing to do.

However, Tracy overheard his plan and became upset — arguing that he cannot do this to his unborn child.

In spite of Tracy’s claims, Nate followed through, as he went to the police station with dad Cain.

When Tracy learned what he’d done, she was devastated, as she came to realise that she might be forced to raise her baby on her own given that its likely Nate will spend some time behind bars.

Will Nate go to prison for a crime he didn’t commit?

If so, how long for?

Emmerdale continues Wednesday October 20 at 7pm on ITV.
