Ethan shot the latter during a family dinner which occurred in December, 2021.

After a conversation between the two piques his interest, Ethan confronts Ste and Sienna, demanding they explain themselves.

But will their stories line up?

There's more danger around the corner, however, as Valentine's Day approaches and Ethan sets his sights on Ste and Sienna's sisters Leela and Liberty?

Honour (Vera Chok) takes it upon herself to bring her husband Dave (Dominic Power) and his long-lost daughter Maxime Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) closer together.

Maxine is invited by Honour to the family's weekly game night but tensions quickly arise.

While Maxine may be feeling unwelcome amid the family drama, the Chen-Williams children are actually angry at their own father.

Can the family settle their differences?

4. Tom makes a mistake

Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins) makes life difficult for his wife Yazz (Haiesha Mistry).

Enlisting Verity Hutchinson's (Eva O'Hara) help with a new article about cheating in a relationship, Yazz gives Tom a memory stick so he can read her final piece.

But when a huge mix-up leads to Tom sending the wrong article to the Chester Herald, Yazz is horrified to see that her story about Ali Shahzad's case is first page news.

The newshound learns from Verity that the potentially defamatory article will not only impact her career but also Misbah Maliik's (Harvey Virdi) case.

In trying to expose the cruel doctor, Yazz may have allowed him more time as the story may stop the case from getting to court.

How can Yazz amend the situation?

After taking over as manager of The Dog in the Pond, Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) wants to make business difficult for his rival, Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts).

The latter has become quite the nuisance since he re-launched The Love Boat.

Tony buys a bouquet of red roses for his business rival but the gift is far from a peace offering.

A microphone is hidden in the bouquet as Tony tries to get some dirt he could use against his competitor.

Things take a turn, however, when Tony gets the wrong end of the stick and believes Damon is out to steal his wife Diane (Alex Fletcher).

Has Damon also decided to trick him?

A victim of the explosion which took place in the Salon de Thé de Marnie, in January, 2022, Celeste Faroe (Andrea Ali) gets the tribute she deserves.

Emotions run high in Hollyoaks as village residents say goodbye to the student.

Grace offers the Loft as a venue for the wake, where Celeste's half-brother DeMarcus (Tomi Ade) gives out some words of encouragement, paying his respects to the late Celeste.

Speeches at the funeral make mentions of unconditional love.
