On Saturday night, the remaining celebrities will take to the dancefloor for the Strictly Come Dancing final. AJ Odudu, Rose Ayling-Ellis and John Whaite will battle it out along with their dance partners in a bid to impress the judges, but only one of them will lift the Glitterball Trophy.
TV presenter AJ and her dancer partner Kai have gone from strength to strength during the competition.
However, the duo did suffer a slip-up in recent weeks when they tried to perform a lift.
Last weekend, they also failed to reach a perfect score of 40 from the judges after Craig Revel Horwood marked them down during one of their routines.
Speaking to Zoe Ball on her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show about being in the final, professional dancer Kai aired his worries.
Zoe began by asking Kai how he was feeling as she pointed out what a rollercoaster journey the BBC competition can be.
“You go from one brilliant dance to a tricky one,” the host began. “We’ve seen AJ very emotional at times because it is so tough.
“Sometimes you don’t feel like you’ve done as well. Then the next week you’re up and you’re down.
“You’ve got to pick her up, so you must be so chuffed when it goes that well.”
The dance professional replied: “I am really chuffed and obviously last week we had two dances and not just the one.”
Discussing his concerns, Kai continued: “You know yourself as you’ve done the show, the Rumba is not an easy dancer either.
“We had two difficult dances. One with loads of steps and one the judges never gave a 40 for.
“Off the back of that, we had come off being in the dance-off the week before and a bit of a dodgy lift so it shows what kind of character this girl is.”
Despite having a tough couple of weeks on the dance floor, Kai said he was trying to stay positive.
He told the host: “We are just going to bring that energy and that fun, good vibes. We are going to have a ball. We are going to have an amazing time this week.
“We can’t wait to get out on the dancefloor one last time.”
Kai went on to tease what routines they will be performing for the final.
However, Zoe couldn’t help in making a cheeky swipe at judge Craig over not giving the pair a 40 for their Charleston.
“On Saturday, we are praying for Charleston again which should have had 40,” Zoe said.
“Just so you have a chance to get your 40 for that, yes Craig Revel Horwood, we are talking to you.”
Discussing their show dance, Kai said: It’s going to have the kitchen sink and everything else thrown into this one.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
