First Minister Nicola Sturgeon appeared on Good Morning Britain and was interrogated on the Cambo oil field which UK authorities are debating whether to allow the oil field development to take place. Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has attacked the plans amid the climate crisis with GMB’s Kate Garraway asking Ms Sturgeon whether she felt it was right to push the development. Ms Sturgeon skirted around the question, stating Scotland needed to have a smooth transition from oil to renewable energies with Ms Garraway demanding the First Minister share her view on the controversial topic.
