Single mother and therapist Monique appeared to hit it off with Martin, who is originally from Birmingham, straight away and her daughter Taiya broke down in tears as she watched her mum light up.
Viewers were just as gripped as sparks flew between the pair, who realised they had a lot in common and were attracted to one another.
With their date over there was only one thing left to do.
Watching from a screening room, Taiya wiped away her tears as the pair kissed.
Monique's daughter later explained to the cameras: "She’s been with people who disrespected her, didn’t value her as a person and didn’t care for her.
"I think Martin could just give her an insight into what she could have, what she could deserve."
Viewers were left in bits too and one said: "Awwww Martin and Monique – I’m crying."
Another wrote: "Oh Monique and Martin are adorable together."
And a third said: "I cannot with Martin and Monique. Had to wipe a tear."
Martin previously opened up about the highs and lows of dating.
He said: "I used to fall head over heels in love, skin my knees, dust myself off, get up, have my heart broken and go and try again.
"Now, I’m very reluctant to share, I don’t find it easy to throw myself into it.
"I’m very cautious. I’ve had enough of being hurt. I’m more self-protective."
Describing her dating history previously, Monique said: "Disappointing and disheartening with poor judgement. I find it hard to read somebody properly, I like to give everyone a chance even when I know deep inside it’s not quite right.
