Manifest has made it into the top 10 most-watched shows since it was added to Netflix. The series originally aired on NBC, but following the third season, the network announced it would be dropping the show from its schedule. This has left fans wondering what happens to the characters at the end, and has the latest.

Does Manifest have an ending?

Manifest fans joined the creators of the series in the fight to get the show renewed for a fourth season.

The thrilling series follows a group of passengers aboard a plane that goes missing for more than five years.

When the passengers arrive back in New York, they start experiencing strange and unexplained goings-on.

They make it their mission to get to the bottom of what happened and how they disappeared for all that time.

Sadly, as the show was cancelled after the third season, there will be no knowing what happens in the end.

The creators of the series had not anticipated the cancellation, so the season three finale did not tie up loose ends.

This has left fans even more frustrated as they want justice for the characters they have come to fall in love with.

The creator of the series, Jeff Rake, took to Twitter to promise fans he will get season four in the bag.

He had been in talks with Netflix with the hope the streaming platform would revive the show, but plans fell through.

The creator said on Twitter: “Manifesters! Your support is awe-inspiring. We’re trying to find a way to conclude the series. Could take a week, a month, a year. But we’re not giving up. You deserve an end to the story.

“Keep the conversation alive. If it works out, it’s because of YOU.”

Fans are hoping this means the series will get its ending at some stage, and they are keeping their fingers crossed.

They took to the comments to discuss what they would like to see happen, with one saying: “#SaveManifest – also mich & Jared – seem more like they are meant to be. If anyone’s listening and if the closure is ever granted.”

Another fan said: “PLEASE!!!! At the very least, maybe a 3 hour movie like Breaking Bad did with El Camino. This was the best series since Breaking Bad in my opinion. I am DEVASTATED it’s been canceled! Not an hour goes by that I think about that ending. PLEASE DONT GIVE UP!!!” [Sic]

A third added: “YOU guys deserve to show the ending of the story that you’ve all worked so hard on. We will continue to fight for this show! #SaveManifest #Manifest”

It seems viewers are fully behind Rake’s plight to get the show its fourth season soon.

He has also been using the hashtag #reshopmanifest in a bid to find the series a new home.

The creator tagged Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and HBO Max in a tweet, asking if they would save the series.

He has continued to thank his fans for their continued support since the series started airing back in 2018.

He said: “Manifest Gratitude, Final Edition Thank YOU, our fans. You became the Manifesters at Comic-Con 2018.

“Ever since, you’ve watched religiously, parsed every word, cried a lot, laughed a little, puzzle-solved, and never, ever, wavered in your support. I’ll never forget it.”

There has since been talks of a Manifest movie, which may shed some light on what happened to the crew and passengers.

Rake has spoken out about considering a number of options to wrap up the story, including a movie or book.

On Twitter, he said he was going to take some time to figure out how he could finish the story once and for all.

He said: “At some point in time, I will figure out how to finish the story in a way that honours the story we’ve told so far because so much love and care and precision and money and blood, sweat and tears went into these first three seasons [that] for me to summarily blurt out the rest of the story in an article or in a series of tweets… it’s not happening.”

The show was originally set to air for a total of six seasons, so there is a lot of the story left to tell.

Manifest seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix now.
