Love Island’s Billy Brown reveals secret hook-up with bombshell before villa

Love Island star Billy Brown has made a startling admission, as he revealed he hooked up with one of this year’s bombshells before he arrived in the villa.

The dumped Islander revealed his unusual connection to Lacey Edwards while chatting to Bobby Norris and guest host Summer Monteys-Fullam on this week’s edition of FUBAR Radio's Access All Areas, which is due to be released later tonight.

In the interview, the cheeky bombshell told the hosts: “I saw that this Lacey girl is going in and I've got with her before, which is funny. Next thing you know, she texts me that day she got out saying, 'missed you by a day'.”

Billy then went on to explain how the pair had originally met after attending a boat party together, where sparks soon flew.

However he downplayed any hint of a serious romance as he recalled: “It’s just a little kiss, it was a boat party.

“She fancied me and I ended up just getting with her. It didn't go any further.”

During his time on Love Island, Billy Brown got to know several of the Islanders as he attempted to win their hearts, including Tasha Ghouri, Danica Taylor and even Gemma Owen.

Attempting to win them over with his flirtatious comments and sense of humour, fans at home could be forgiven for thinking that Billy was taking the drama all in his stride, however during the podcast, he revealed that whole experience was actually pretty “intense.”

Discussing his entrance into the villa a part of Casa Amor, Billy said: “You start overthinking it and when you go in and the girls look ten times better in person and you go whoa, like these are proper fit.”

Elaborating a little more, the star continued: “So, it was intense, and you sit around a fire pit, and you can only really talk one at a time because of the cameras and stuff.

“It was a bit awkward at the start and then I sort of just eased into it, but it was nerve-racking at the start."

It wasn’t just about getting to know people however, as Billy also shared his experience of how it felt trying to turn someone’s head when they were already happily coupled up.

“As a bombshell you’ve got to turn heads… for me to turn someone's head that's in a relationship was quite hard, but I enjoyed the challenge,” he admitted.

While it may be tough for some of his fellow contestants, Billy actually seemed to thrive on the challenge as he confessed to enjoying it.

“I like things like that. So, for me it was alright, but other boys maybe not,” he added.

Although his time on Love island has come to an end, it may not be the last we see of the cheeky bombshell, as he has also shared his hopes for trying his hand at a few other reality shows in the future.

Speaking to Summer and Bobby, Billy told the FUBAR hosts: “I’ll do any [television show] you name it, Celebs Go Dating, I'll do Strictly Come Dancing, Too Hot To Handle. I'm up for anything as long as there's banter involved!”

You can listen and download the full show from the FUBAR website here from 7pm tonight. The show airs every Thursday at 6pm via fubarradio.com.
