Love Island star set to be a millionaire in DAYS after becoming first Islander to reach major milestone | The Sun

LOVE Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was already one of the richer Islanders thanks to her oft-mentioned career in Turkish soap operas.

But the star – "dubbed an actress and a liar" by her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti – could be set for an even bigger payday.

Ekin-Su recently became the first of Love Island's class of 2022 to pass a million followers on Instagram.

She has even roared past Adam Collard, who has been a famous face ever since appearing on the show in 2018.

The achievement unlocks huge earnings potential on the platform, with brands certain to be clamouring for her endorsement.

According to digital marketing agency a million followers can net you around £10,000 an endorsement.

Ekin-Su's Instagram account, which is run by pals, posted today: "So excited to say that we are now a family of 1 Million!!!

"It would never have been possible without all your immense support and encouragement for Ekin-Su.

"She will be blow away to know that she has has so many people behind her."

And with the days when becoming mega-rich from Love Island a distant memory, she could reach millionaire status soon after leaving the villa.

With deals likely to be ready to go the moment she leaves, especially if she and Davide win, Ekin is sure to be on the fast-track to wealth.

It's a well-worn route. Molly-Mague Hague went from a YouTuber in 2019 to a sought-after celebrity worth an estimated £4.5million.

And Maura Higgins – the Islander Ekin-Su is most often compared to – has an estimated £2.5million in the bank.

If Ekin-Su and Davide win they will each face the opportunity to share the show's £50,000 or keep it for themselves.

Despite his increasingly sweet nature in recent days, some fans are convinced that one of them will attempt to steal it.

Though given the sums they can make outside the villa, that may not count at all.

Love Island returns to ITV2 tonight at 9pm.
