Love Island Liam in for heartbreak as Davide set to steal Gemma amid shake-up

The eighth series of Love Island has officially kicked off and some viewers are worried about masters student Liam Llewellyn after his partner Gemma Owen showed interest in new boy Davide Sanclimenti.

Gemma was chosen by the public to couple up with masters student Liam, although it seemed she wasn't too pleased with her new partner.

Later on in the show Liam faced a brutal rejection during a game that involved the islanders picking dares out of a box, Gemma was tasked to kiss the person she fancied the most.

Despite being in a couple with Liam, she made a beeline for Italian bombshell Davide, who is eight years older than her.

Tonight (June 7) Davide will decide who he is going to couple up with, with the remaining boy being left single and vulnerable.

Speculation has begun on who Davide will chose and the odds seem to all point towards Gemma.

Alex Apati of bookes Ladbrokes said: “It’s hard to look past a recoupling of Gemma and Davide at this point.

"The latter has the pick of the girls tonight, and with sparks already flying and Gemma not quite hitting it off with Liam, we’d be shocked if Davide is looking elsewhere.”

They have predicted 10/11 odds that Davide will pick Gemma, with Paige in second at 2/1 and Indiyah last at 6/1.

Viewers are worried that is Davide chooses Gemma, Liams time on the show could be very short lived.

One viewer tweeted: "Awh I love Liam, I really hope he doesn’t leave first because of bloody Gemma."

Another said; "Liam better not get dumped from the island. If he does I am done."

A third fan added: "Liam best not get dumped first."

A fourth viewer tweeted: "Liam’s giving the boy who gets dumped first, sorry xx."
