Love Island fans horrified as Faye and Sharon hold hands with new boys Chuggs and Liam – calling it 'awkward'
FANS of Love Island have been left horrified as Faye and Sharon "awkwardly" held hands with new boys Chuggs and Liam.
Viewers took to Twitter to dub the moment "stomach churning" and "horrendous" after the couples had just one date together.
Last night, Chuggs Wallis and Liam Reardon entered the villa in a bombshell shake-up, seeing the new boys go on dates with Sharon and Faye.
Lettings manager Faye, 26, was immediately smitten with Liam while Sharon, 25, took her time warming to the bucket-hat business owner.
Nonetheless, when the dates were over, both pairs walked back into the villa hand-in-hand as the girls proudly showed off the new men.
While Faye and Sharon looked pleased, viewers at home slammed the "awkward" moment – saying it made them feel sick.
One viewer kicked off the debate: "These people are being awkward on purpose. Why are they holding hands?"
Another chimed in alongside a series of emojis looking unwell: "WHY on earth are they holding hands after a 30 minute date? Stomach churning."
"Why are they holding hands? It's been three seconds. I'm actually so confused," a third agreed of the hand-holding.
"Why are they holding hands whilst walking? You had ONE date," a fourth simply said, alongside a series of embarrassed emojis.
Others said they were "disgusted" by the action, which they speculated was just for "the drama" to stir the pot inside the villa.
"Bring on the drama!" one simply summed up, while a second agreed: "Please bring on the drama!"
Faye's date came after she made it clear to Brad she was not impressed with his moves after he embarrassed her in a game of beer pong.
Geordie hunk Brad won a dare to 'kiss the most attractive and least attractive girl in the villa' and he picked his partner for the latter.
As they argued it out on the sofa, she added: "I don't like you anyway – you're alright to look at but your f***ing personality stinks."
Tonight's episode could see a further shake up, as Faye sparks up a new romance with another hunk, Hugo Hammond.
After a day of grafting around the pool the 26-year-old estate agent is set to reveal her feelings towards Hugo, 22, in the beach hut.
Hugo is currently coupled with Sharon but was branded a "hypocrite" for saying he "can't take her home to his parents" – despite the school teacher admitting to having sex in street.

Viewers fumed at the reality star's double standards as he made the confession while chatting to some of the boys.
He confessed: "For me it's a clash of personalities. I know it sounds ruthless, but I couldn't imagine bringing her to meet my family, outside of here.
Meanwhile Sharon Gaffka, 25, complained about their chemistry and said: "I'm not a lost puppy, I'm not the type of girl who will follow you around and hope for some attention."
