Love Is Blind star releases apology video after ‘mistreating people’
Love Is Blind: Netflix announces release date for season 4
Netflix viewers were fuming with Love Is Blind star Irina Solomonova and Micah Lussier over their treatment of other contestants on the popular dating programme. Now Irina has uploaded a grovelling apology video on Instagram, saying sorry for “mistreating people on the show”.
Since season four’s launch, Netflix’s Love Is Blind viewers weren’t happy with Irina Solomonova and fellow contestant Micah Lussier.
They were accused of “mean girl behaviour” and fans didn’t like Irina’s treatment of her then-fiance Zack Goytowski.
Micah had already released her apology, but Irina had remained tight-lipped, until now.
Breaking her silence on Sunday, following a week of nothing, Irina finally addressed claims she had “mistreated people on the show”.
Captioned “from my heart”, Irina sat down as she addressed her actions on Love Is Blind.
She said: “I want to start off by saying sorry that this video is a little delayed.
“I really wanted to take some time to process everything that has been going on this past week and really get my thoughts together before I responded.”
Irina continued: “The first thing I want to say is that I have privately apologised to the people that I have hurt and mistreated.”

She added: “Second of all, I wanted to say I am so, so sorry for the people that watched the show that felt frustrated, angry, hurt by the way that I was mistreating people on the show.
“It was very immature and naive of me in a lot of those situations.”
Further addressing the ordeal, Irina continued: “I just want to say that Zack, Bliss, Amber, Jackie, Micah, none of those people deserved to be treated the way that I treated them.
“I am genuinely so, so sorry. Truly, I want to add value to people and I want to make people feel seen, and who I was on the show was the complete, exact opposite of that person.”

Irina concluded: “I feel like being on the show was like getting a mirror put in front of your face in the sense of seeing yourself from a different perspective.
“Even Zack, he was so vulnerable with me and I so mistreated him and shut him out.
“And I hope that one day I get to share my experience and what was going on with me emotionally during that experience.”
Flocking to the post’s comment section, fans continued to fume after being unconvinced by the delayed apology video.
Follower @marley.52 wrote: “What? Sorry..I only heard ‘I’m posting this so I don’t get fully cancelled and this is all about me’ lolol.”
While @cami.grangers commented: “If you actually felt remorseful why did you go in a podcast and laugh about all of your cruelty?”
@gustsgirl1112 added: “Zack IMO is the main one who deserves an apology…”
User @furlongforever concluded: “The way you put down and belittled Zack was really difficult for many people to watch especially anyone who has been bullied.” (sic)
