Lee Mead reveals shocking results of his hair transplant as he admits he's had it done TWICE | The Sun

DENISE Van Outen's ex-husband Lee Mead has revealed the results of his second hair transplant.

The actor opened up about his quest to resuscitate his receding hairline, which first started 15 years ago.

The 41-year-old appeared on This Morning today to explain he'd flown out to Turkey for the operation.

Lee said: "My first one was 15 years ago called FUT technique (Follicular Unit Transplant Technique). But nobody knew. Then I had my next one.

"There's nothing wrong with being bald but it was receding and it affected my confidence a bit.

'"Robbie Williams said he wanted one but his hair had got too thin so I thought I better do it sooner rather than later.

"The team were incredible. I stayed about four days in Turkey."

The Holby City actor, 41, is known for his trademark curly hair, but shocked fans when he revealed his shaved head ahead of his op.

Last month he was seen sporting a painful wound on the front of his head and at the back.
