Katie Price's son Junior, 16, says he's desperate to do I'm A Celeb like his parents – but would turn down Love Island

KATIE Price's son Junior said he would relish taking on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! just like his parents.

If it wasn't for the ITV reality show Junior may never have existed as his mum Katie and dad Peter Andre hit it off in the 2004 series.

After a whirlwind on-screen relationship the pair kept things going back in the UK and soon married and started a family.

Seventeen years on Junior is ready to jet off to Australia and get stuck into the bushtucker trials, should the opportunity present itself, but has ruled out signing up to Love Island.

He told OK!: “I love the people on it [Love Island] and I’m not mocking them, but I think I would feel too embarrassed about my parents watching me.

"I’d actually love to do I’m A Celebrity if I got the opportunity.”

Junior certainly has his sights set high. Yesterday he vowed he would be “on top of the world soon” after turning 16.

The teen celebrated his big day with a garden party at his dad’s house and was treated to a massive cake.

He told his fans: “I love you all honestly. Thank you so much for the bday wishes and all the support you give me.

“This is just the start of my journey, soon I’ll be on top of the world, just watch.”

Earlier in the day Peter, 48, had teased fans with a glimpse of the bash – showing some tropical themed decorations around the hottub.

He also revealed the massive three tiered chocolate cake, which his cousin had made for them.

Junior was joined by his friends at the bash and he shared a picture with them, writing: “Bday settingzzzz. 🎉🎉 BIG 16 🎉🎉.”

The youngster previously revealed he was planning a “glow up” now he’s sixteen – much to dad Pete’s horror.

Junior recently said: "When I’m 16 I hopefully will have a glow up.

"I want to get my two ears pierced. I'm not sure I would suit just one and I don’t know which is the right one.

"When I’m older I want a neck tattoo as well – a big neck tattoo but on my face."
