Katie Price hugs Harvey goodbye as he starts college in first look at BBC show
Katie Price shares a touching hug with her teenage son Harvey during a first look at their brand new BBC One documentary, Katie Price: What Harvey Did Next.
In the short trailer that has been released ahead of the programme, Katie, 43, can be seen pulling her 19 year old son in for a cuddle as they prepare for the next big stage in their lives.
The hour-long documentary follows mum of five Katie, as she and Harvey get ready for him to move away from the rest of the family and start studying and living at his new college.
The trailer begins with Katie and Harvey discussing his move, as Katie tells her excited son: “You’ve got a big swimming pool at college.”
It then cuts to scenes of the pair visiting Harvey’s college and sampling the various activities that are on offer for the students.
The final footage shows Katie and Harvey hugging while standing in his new room, as Katie closes her eyes and prepares to say goodbye.
The voiceover in the trailer can then be heard saying: “Follow Harvey as he starts college and takes on his biggest challenge yet.”
Katie and Harvey have allowed the cameras back into their lives to showcase the ups and downs of what Harvey’s move to college means for him and the rest of the Price family.
It will see him enrolling for the first term at a specialist college called National Star in Cheltenham.
But how will the duo cope with being away from each other full-time for the first time in nineteen years?
As well as charting Harvey’s progress as he settles into life at college and in his own flat, the show will lift the lid on Katie’s feelings at being separated from her son for the next three years.
The documentary will also tackle Katie’s arrest following a car accident after driving whilst intoxicated and disqualified.
As Katie’s family rally around her and support her, Katie’s mum Amy asks some tough questions about what would have happened to Harvey if something had happened to her.
