Katie Price admits she's 'not perfect' and says she is 'healing' and trying to be the 'best person and mother she can be' after rehab and drink-driving arrest

The 40-year-old reality star, who has been seeking help for her problems at the Priory , heralded her return in a long, emotional post on Instagram where she admitted: "I am not perfect."

She wrote: "I have my own story. I am not perfect. I am healing. I am learning everyday. I am a real person. I have feelings. I am doing the best I can do.

"I am being the best person and mother I can be. I have taken the time I needed to understand myself. This is now my time. I am back."

She then posted a picture with a quote that read: "Today I forgive myself. Not just once. Again, and again, and again. As many times as it takes to find peace."

Katie went into rehab after more than a year of hell marked by her mum's diagnosis with a terminal illness, the collapse of her marriage to Kieran Hayler, a string of booze and drugs scandals and threats of bankruptcy.

At the start of September she was filmed slumped on the floor in Majorca after performing a bizarre rap where she sung, "I love the coke."

Things got even worse in October when she was arrested at 2am on suspicion of drink-driving after driving her pink Range Rover into a bush following ex Kris Boyson's birthday in South London.

But yesterday she told fans: "It's so good to be back" using a filter that transformed her into a Halloween dog.

She later posted a quote that read: "One of the risks of being quiet is that the other people can fill your silence with their own interpretation.

"You're bored. You're depressed. You're shy. You're stuck up. You're judgemental.

"When others can't read us, they write their own story – not always one we choose or that's true to who we are."

Earlier today we revealed how Katie's reality TV show My Crazy Life will return for a two-part special – and she has already started filming it.

She explained: "Things have really hit rock bottom since the last series of My Crazy Life a few months ago.

"But the only way is up. It’s time to get my life back on track and be the best mum in the world for my kids.

"I’m excited to get back to doing what I love and to tell my side of the story.”

In a post last night she revealed: "Been filming my new show today and now time to chillax with my children."

Katie had been taking a break from social media since the end of August, having entered rehab to seek help for post traumatic stress disorder, which has been blamed for her wild behaviour.
