ITV I’m A Celebrity new ‘fix’ row emerges as star rushed out of camp

I’m a Celeb: Ant and Dec reveal Nella is exempt from trial

I’m A Celebrity has been embroiled in a new “fix” row after Nella Rose was exempt from taking part in the bushtucker trial on medical grounds.

Viewers had been voting for the trial In Too Deep which is an underwater trial, but the 26-year-old Youtube star became exempt from doing the trial at the very last moment.

As a result, Nella was rushed out of camp where she sought medical attention. The influencer has since rejoined her campmates in the jungle.

However, angry fans have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter to express their views on the matter, with some arguing it’s a “fix”.

One person said: “They making the tasks easy for #nella then completely fixing it saying she’s ‘seeing a doctor’ basically she got all the votes again #imaceleb.” (sic)

Another viewer wrote: “Omg Nella going full Gillian McKeith to get out of the trial, smart queen #ImACeleb.”

A third X user added: “I was waiting on Ant and Dec saying Nella was exempt before the vote opened. No surprise they said she was seeing a medic before they announced the result. Very suspicious #ImACeleb.” (sic)

While a fourth expressed: “So Nella was available to vote for and all of a sudden she’s exempt and the votes handed to the next camp mate down? What tosh. Wasted votes.”

In the closing moments of Tuesday night’s episode of the ITV show, Ant and Dec headed into the camp to reveal who would be doing the next trial and confirmed Nella was being checked over by the medics.

Dec said: “Now, unfortunately, Nella is being seen by the medic so she’ll be back later, but it means she’s now exempt from this trial.”So let’s go in there and see who will be doing it.”

The pair then revealed to the celebrities that Nick Pickard and Nigel Farage would be taking on the next underwater trial.

A statement from an ITV spokesperson said: “During last night’s live broadcast, Nella Rose required medical treatment on site and was deemed unable to take part in the trial.”

“Nella has since rejoined the camp,” the spokesperson confirmed as they concluded the statement.

I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
