But her big Albert Square return has brought with it some complications – namely her daughter Anna's relationship with ben Beale.
Is Bobby Beale related to Anna Knight?
Bobby Beale and Anna Knight are step-brother and sister.
They also both share the same brother, Peter Beale.
Cindy Beale was revealed to be Anna's mum, Rose Knight, and she is now back with her ex-husband Ian Beale who is Bobby dad.
Viewers were then left wincing after Bobby made a move on his step-sister Anna and they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend.

Anna immediately caught eye when she first settled in Albert Square alongside her family.
The EastEnders lad finally made his feelings clear and confessed that he wanted to be more than just friends.
Anna revealed that she felt the same way and the two shared a kiss – but viewers were left cringing, as the pair are related by marriage, and share a brother.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Cindy needs to come back asap because I can't deal with Bobby and Anna."

Who plays Anna Knight in EastEnders?
Anna Knight is played by actress Molly Rainford.
She first found fame aged 11 when she became the youngest ever finalist of Britain’s Got Talent.
However, Molly chose to continue her studies after BGT, with Simon Cowell and Sony Music honouring her with their first ever drama school scholarship at internationally renowned Sylvia Young Theatre School.
