I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2020 series officially confirmed
ITV has officially confirmed that I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will return to TV screens in autumn.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will be back at the helm of the award-winning reality show, with a whole new batch of famous faces taking on the notorious Bushtucker Trials.
If that wasn’t enough, the broadcaster also announced a one-off documentary called I’m A Celebrity: A Jungle Story, which will ‘celebrate all the very best moments of the show’s stellar 19-year history’.
This year’s series of I’m A Celebrity had been up in the air due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier this week, it was reported that campmates may have to spend two weeks in quarantine to stay safe against Covid-19.
It’s been claimed that in order to accomplish safe social distancing and to ensure everyone is Covid-free before entering this year’s camp, everyone involved will go into lockdown.
‘They understand that for some people, the thought of maybe having to spend more than a month away from their families might be off-putting,’ a source told The Sun.
‘But in the grand scheme of things, having this two-week plan in place is one simple way of being able to ensure the health of those taking part — and the people working on the show.’
Details of how the show will go ahead have yet to be announced.
There are rumours floating around that contestants could be jetting off to Scotland rather than the Australian Gold Coast.
It was also reported that families will not be able to join the stars at the luxury resort that’s usually on hand during the show’s run.
Either way, we’re excited we’ll soon get to see celebrities put through their paces.
