JOJO Fletcher and her fiance Jordan Rodgers had to postpone their wedding date at the height of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
Jojo appeared on Season 12 of NBC's The Bachelorette.
The pair have been together for four years after they got engaged in Jojo's season which aired in 2016.
Who is JoJo Fletcher and when was she on the Bachelorette?
Joelle "Jojo" Fletcher appeared as a contestant on season 20 of The Bachelor in 2016 with Ben Higgins. She was the runner-up but lost to Lauren Bushnell.
She was crowned as the Bachelorette for Season 12 that same year.
During her time on the show JoJo chose former pro-quarterback Jordan Rodgers, 33, as the Bachelorette winner over runner-up Robby Hayes.
After revealing her pick, Jordan got down on one knee and proposed to Jojo in the emotional episode.
Jojo's decision was polarizing among fans after reports of his infidelity emerged. Fletcher’s mom Soraya even called him “a player.”
Since getting engaged on the season finale of the Bachelorette in 2016, the pair are still very much in love.
In the summer of 2019, Rodgers re-proposed to Jojo with a new ring while the pair were hunting for wedding venues.
"The show brought us together and set us up for a truly amazing proposal the first time around, but this time was all YOU," Jojo, 31, captioned an Instagram photo after the sweet moment in August of that year.
"And that means everything and more to me. I can't wait to marry you! Thank you for loving me so purely and protecting my heart in a way I always used to pray for."
In May 2020 the couple celebrated four years together.
They gushed over one another on social media.
"Yesterday marked 4 years with you @jrodgers11 — this is just a short minute of little moments that I am blessed with every day," Jojo captioned a montage of some of their moments together.
"You make me laugh, love me endlessly, encourage me to be brave, and always, without fail, are my biggest cheerleader.
"Also appreciate the fact that you still love me in my weirdest moments. (& like my dance moves) Can't wait for what the rest of our lives have in store for us."
The former football pro shared a video of his wife dancing around their living room on Instagram, writing "Happy Anniversary to the best dancer I know,"
"I love you more than words can describe, and in these hilarious moments of you, just being you…I fall in love even more. 4 years down and an endless lifetime of being weirdos together ahead! Love you @joelle_fletcher."
Who is Jordan Rodgers?
Jordan Edward Rodgers was born on August 30, 1988, he is 33 years old.
He is an American sports commentator, and former college and professional football quarterback.
Rodgers has also appeared on numerous TV shows from Cash Pad, The Bachelorette, and currently SEC Nation.
He is related to Aaron and Luke Rodgers.
Jordan also attended Vanderbilt University for his higher education.
When did JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers get married?
The couple were forced to put a pause on their wedding plans due to COVID-19.
Jojo posted on Instagram: "6.13.20 … Happy “What would have been Wedding Day” to us!
"As you guys know, we have spent the last 11 months planning the wedding of our dreams but given the circumstances of 2020, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our special day.
"Even though I don’t get to marry you todayyyyy @jrodgers11, I know it will be all more worth the wait.
"2021, we 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘭𝘺𝘺𝘺𝘺𝘺 can’t wait for you."
Jojo recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight, saying that she didn't want to rush the couple's special day.
"We would never sacrifice that day to just rush and get it done. So, if it can't happen the way we want it to happen, we'll do it when we can," she said."It's been four years, so what’s another year?" Jordan added.On May 14, 2022, PEOPLE exclusively reported that the couple had gotten married.
"It sounds cliché, but I really am marrying my best friend," JoJo, 31, told PEOPLE.
"Everything that's happened in our relationship has only made us stronger. And we just feel so lucky."
"It feels so good! It took a while to get here but it was all so worth it. We are FINALLY married!!! Can't wait to start this next chapter of our life together," she adds.
She wore an Ines di Santo gown for her ceremony and exchanged personal vows with Jordan.
