How Frida Andersson has helped Jamie Redknapp find happiness after the heartbreak of Louise divorce

THE term 'whirlwind romance' could have been coined for loved-up Jamie Redknapp and his model girlfriend Frida Andersson.

As The Sun revealed last night, the Sky Sports star, 47, and Swedish mum-of-four, 37, are to be parents again after 18 months together.

They got together after Jamie split amicably from wife Louise, 46, in 2017 after 19 years of marriage.

Introduced by pals, the ex-England and Liverpool footballer Jamie hit it off with the model immediately as she helped him through the heartbreak of divorce.

The pair moved in together and spent the rolling lockdowns that hit the UK together – a move that only brought them closer together.

They were often seen going for coffee runs near their London home or heading out in fitness gear.

Usually seen laughing together or even cuddling in the street, Jamie is known to have fallen for "kind and fun" Frida's sense of humour.

Now the couple – who The Sun first revealed were dating back in August – are "delighted" to be having a baby together.

Frida is three months pregnant with the new arrival expected in November.

Between them, they have no end of parenting experience –  is already dad to Charley, 16, and Beau, 12, from his marriage to Louise.

And Frida has four children from her marriage to US hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie.

A source told The Sun last night: “Jamie and Frida are absolutely delighted.

“They’ve been virtually inseparable in lockdown, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.

“The couple started telling their nearest and dearest last week.

"Jamie’s been telling pals he’s really excited to be a dad again — less excited about the sleepless nights, and nappy-changing.

“But both he and Frida will be brilliant, hands-on parents.”

Frida, who has modelled for brands including Escada, was born in Sweden, but has lived in London since her modelling career took off.
