Hollyoaks lines up surprise storm week cameos for Good Morning Britain's Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid

As if we weren’t excited enough for Hollyoaks‘ upcoming storm week, the Channel 4 soap has now enlisted some familiar famous faces to help cover the show’s unfolding drama.

Ahead of the spectacular stunts and storylines of next week, Hollyoaks has confirmed that real-life TV and radio hosts from across the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 will be getting involved.

As the fictional ‘Storm Belinda’ gets ready to hit the Hollyoaks‘ village and uproot the lives of its residents, Good Morning Britain‘s Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid will be on hand to give the cast – and viewers – updates as the storm batters Chester.

And that’s not all – BBC presenter and former Strictly Come Dancing star Carol Kirkwood will also be making her ‘Oaks debut, delivering all-important weather reports throughout the week.

Storm Belinda’s terrifying weather conditions will coincide with Ste and Harry’s already-dramatic wedding and the explosive comeback of Stephanie Davis’s character Sinead O’Connor.

Hinting at heartbreak, show boss Bryan Kirkwood recently told Digital Spy: “October is always a troubling time for the residents of Hollyoaks, so I’d say that fans should expect to cry a few tears.”

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
