Holly Willoughby admits she 'can't wait to snuggle' pal Dermot O'Leary's newborn after star announces son's birth
HOLLY Willoughby gushed that she "can't wait to snuggle" pal Dermot O'Leary's baby after the star announced his son's birth earlier today.
The 39-year-old star was quick to congratulate the 47-year-old presenter on his bundle of joy, with the newborn Dermot and wife Dee Koppang's first child.
Commenting on the announcement post, Holly, who has three children of her own, wrote: "Congratulations… Love you both… Welcome to the world Koppang O'Leary, can't wait for snuggles."
Dermot's other famous friends also sent their well-wishes, with Scarlett Moffatt commenting: "Congratulations to you both."
Pregnant Rochelle Humes added: "So SO happy. Congratulations to you both, big love."
Emma Willis sent a trio of heart emojis, Amanda Holden wrote: "Amazing news", and Daisy Lowe shared: "Congratulations!!! Sending allll the love".
Sharing his exciting news this morning, Dermot posted a photo of a babygro with "Koppang O'Leary Productions Est. 2020" written on it, alongside a bunny toy.
Updating fans, the proud dad wrote: "We’re delighted to announce that we’ve had a baby!
"A little boy born on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 (Sankthansaften / Midsummer for you Norwegians) at 8.19am, weighing in at 6lb 13oz.
"Enjoying the cuddles in the newborn bubble… cats yet to be 100% convinced. Lots of love, Dermot & Dee x."
The X Factor host announced the couple were expecting a baby in February – 18 years after they first met.
They're yet to reveal the child's name, but for the moment are calling him after his double-barrelled surname, Baby Koppang O'Leary.
Dee, 41, met her presenter husband at a TV production company.
He proposed to her during a romantic trip to New York in November 2011.
They tied the knot in September 2012, a decade after their first meeting.
