Good Morning Britain viewers delighted as Piers Morgan is 'replaced' by cameraman
Piers Morgan was replaced by a cameraman on today’s (October 10) Good Morning Britain, which was fun for Susanna Reid by the looks of it.
It was Piers who was responsible for the swap, as he decided to film the programme instead, prompting Susanna to ask cameraman Carl to “take a seat”.
GMB also tweeted: “You will be delighted to know that Carl the cameraman and @piersmorgan have swapped roles for the morning.
“Well, @susannareid100’s delighted with her new co-presenter – sorry @piersmorgan!”
“Carl is a lot ‘easier on the eye’ than Piers in the morning,” one fan wrote.
“Carl’s definitely better looking. More charming as well. He also looks very clever,” another tweeted.
A third wrote: “Carl & @susannareid100 are a much better couple!!!”
Meanwhile, entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold shared: “Anchorman Attacks! @piersmorgan jib camera takeover @gmb live on air. Let’s hope he’s tightened the nuts.”

It comes after Piers hinted that he might be leaving Good Morning Britain very soon.
Earlier this week, the GMB host told Susanna and Charlotte Hawkins that his three-year anniversary of presenting the show was quickly approaching after he joined in 2015.
He then casually said that it might mean he leaves the early morning show soon, adding: “I never normally stick around for longer than around four years so make the most of it.”
Piers has previously discussed his plans to exit the show, exclusively telling Digital Spy he would stay “until the end of next year because I am contractually obliged to do it until then”.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
