Daily Star’s Inside Hot TV newsletter sees Ed Gleave send you telly’s hot takes straight to your inbox every Sunday

Celebrity Gogglebox star Shaun Ryder forgot himself for a moment when he dropped the F-bomb during a live interview with Neil Oliver on GB News.

The Happy Monday's hitmaker 58, appeared on the new channel to discuss his up and coming new solo album while taking questions from the public.

Host Neil said: "I've got a good one for you from Paul, Paul was diagnosed dyspraxic in 2017 at the age of 47 and he now has a BSC in psychology research and Paul asks ‘Did your school years ever leave feeling accepted in society?’"

Without hesitation Shaun responded: "F***ing absolutely, like I said I didn't know the alphabet…"

Shaun shot to fame as a lead figure as part of the Madchester cultural scene during the late 80s and early 90s.

In 1993, he formed Black Grape with former Happy Monday's star Bez – who he is still chums with even to this day.

The pair have become a frequent double act on the hit channel 4 show Celebrity Gogglebox.

The former I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here runner up appeared on the new network which Andrew Neil chairs.

In an opening speech, Andrew said: "It's 8pm on Sunday June 13th 2021.

"Welcome to the launch of GB News, Britain's news channel, dedicated to covering the news that matters to you and to giving a voice to those who felt sidelined or even silenced in our great national debates.

"Because if it matters to you, it matters to us."

He went on to explain that GB ‘won’t hold back’ from reporting when things go wrong in Britain.

"We won't forget what the 'B' stands for in our title.

"We will cover the good news as well as the bad, because even in grim times, there is much that is great and uplifting to report," he added.
