First Dates' Laura Tott receives sweet letter after battling coronavirus
First Dates’ Laura Tott has receieved a sweet handwritten note from a young neighbour after returning to work as a paramedic amid the coronavirus pandemic.
She’s currently recovering after testing positive for coronavirus and admitted the letter brightened her week.
The note, neatly written up by the young girl and emblazoned with hearts, read: ‘To Laura, I was asked by my teacher to write a letter to a key worker to say thank you.
‘I remembered that you work for the NHS as a parademic. I have also seen you on TV on First Dates.’
The sweet letter continued: ‘Well I just wanted to say thank you very much for all of the hard work you do, especially putting yourself at risk of catching the coronavirus which I know you unfortunately have.
‘It must have been very scary for you but I hope you are feeling better now. I hope you like the window display that me and my brother have decorated to say thank you to you and all of the other key workers.’
Laura wrote alongside her photo: ‘A young girl on my street has just given me this letter.
‘This has brightened up my whole week ?? So much kindness around at the moment ?? Safe to say her handwriting is way better than mine too!’
Well, now we’re emotional.

Swipe across to see a list of symptoms I had over the last week. Hope it helps. I’ve had so many messages from people about symptoms. Everyone presents differently. Mine are pretty different to the classic cough and fever. Just wanna spread awareness on the variety of symptoms. The more awareness we have the more chance we have of beating this Rona cow ? And remember that not everyone that catches this dies, I know it’s a worrying time for everyone but remember how many people have survived it so far ???
