Emmerdale’s Leanna star Mimi Slinger sends fans wild with glamorous makeover

Emmerdale's Mimi Slinger sent fans wild on Friday as she shared a collection of snaps of her glamorous makeover for the UK Premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in London on Thursday.

Taking to Instagram to post a collection of photos from the red carpet, the actress, 19, who played Leanna Cavanagh, looked radiant in a gorgeous off-the-shoulder corset dress.

Mimi styled her blonde locks into a sleek blow-dried hairdo, she added a slick of glamorous make-up and striking gold hooped earrings to her look.

Accessorising her ensemble further, the soap star opted for a delicate gold necklace and matching coloured strappy heels complete with a clutch bag.

Mimi captioned the photos with: "top gun: maverick premiere! such an amazing film with an incredible cast… just as iconic as the original."

The actress was quick to send her 70.1K followers into meltdown as they flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts.

Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle on Emmerdale, wrote: "Look at you ROOMIE [clapping emojis] absolutely gorgeous."

A different fan wrote: "How are you real."

Another follower put: "Out of this world" with heart eye emojis.

While a different account said: "So beautiful" with heart emojis.

Soap fans will recall that Mimi's character Leanna was brutally murdered by Meena Jutla on Emmerdale last year.

Only recently, Leanna's name has been mentioned on the ITV soap due to Meena's explosive court case in April where it was revealed that she had been sentenced to a minimum of 75 years in prison.

Emmerdale fans bid farewell to Leanna after shocking scenes in July during a gruesome confrontation with Meena.

At the time, Mimi admitted she was “shocked” when she finally read her last scenes, despite knowing she was leaving in December 2020.

“I had taken the decision to leave the Dales and I was so looking forward to hearing how the producers were going to engineer my exit,” she said.

“I was so excited to be given the opportunity to be challenged and show my acting abilities.”
