Emmerdale spoiler sees Meena lie to the police to frame Manpreet for Andrea’s murder

Meena Jutla (played by Paige Sandhu) continues to stir up trouble from her prison cell next week as she shows just how determined she is to take sister Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) down with her.

Hell bent on ripping the lives of Emmerdale’s residents apart, Meena tells the police that Manpreet is to blame for Andrea’s murder, despite confessing to Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin).

Meanwhile, the Dales gets ready for a classic Dingle showdown as Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Charity (Emma Atkins) butt heads over just about everything. With the reopening of the Woolpack looping and each feisty character determined to get one up on the other, will it be a catfight for the history books?

Meena is determined to take Manpreet down with her. Manpreet agrees to visit the killer in prison in exchange for her confession, but loses it when her psychopathic sister suggests they both need to take accountability for their actions.

Manpreet slaps her across the face but is buoyed when Meena appears to confess., but the tables turn when Manpreet isn’t there. She lies to the police, telling them Manpreet was the one who killed Andrea. They bring her in for questioning.

Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) is devastated to learn that Vinny and Liv got married behind her back. She finds out when Noah strategically slips her some post addressed to "Mr and Mrs V Dingle."

Chas and Charity are at war. With the reopening of The Woolpack looming, Mandy and Chas plan to burst Charity’s bubble by holding Liv and Vinny’s engagement do at the B&B the same day. When Charity realises the Dingles will be at the engagement party as opposed to her reopening, she hides how hurt she is.

When the big day finally arrives, The Woolpack’s reopening is a disaster and Charity is livid. She confronts Chas and the cousins have it out in true soap style. Food fight, anyone?

After an emotional few weeks, Rhona decides she’s ready to join the Dingle clan and pops the question to Marlon.

However, Rhona’s attempts at romance are thwarted when her mother, Mary (played by telly legend Louise Jameson) arrives on the scene.

Emmerdale airs on ITV on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
