Emmerdale reveals Debbie Dingle's exit scenes
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) is set to struggle to say goodbye to her daughter Debbie (Charley Webb) as she leaves Emmerdale for her trip to Scotland. As Charity moves in with Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) to Debbie’s cottage with the understanding that they look after Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill), reality hits home that she won’t be seeing Debs for a while.
The departure is to facilitate the maternity leave of actress Charley, who is expecting her third child with Matthew Wolfenden, who plays David Metcalfe. It is understood that the star plans to return to the role at a later date but for now, she faces emotional goodbye scenes with her mum.
Can Charity bring herself to bid Debbie farewell? And how will she find her new family set up with Vanessa and Sarah?
Charley recently shared an Instagram video showing that she was attempting to induce the labour of ‘Baby Wolf’ by eating spicy curries. Matthew recently revealed that his wife is a big fan of giving birth but has endured a painful pregnancy.
Speaking on Loose Women, he said: ‘Unfortunately, pregnancy for her has been brutal this time round. She’s been ill from the get go and is still sick now.’
Charley was recently diagnosed with pregnancy-related pelvic condition SPD (symphysis pubis dysfunction). It causes stiff pelvic joints and the star previously described it as ‘agony’.
