Emmerdale fans in tears as Victoria Sugden ends her relationship with Luke Posner after they slept together – The Sun

EMMERDALE fans are upset after Victoria Sugden broke up with Luke Posner after sleeping with him.

The chef – who is played by actress Isabel Hodgins in the ITV soap – has been struggling with her relationship with Luke after his brother Lee raped her last year.

Last night she felt ready to take their relationship to the next level and they slept together but heartbroken Victoria realised it was too soon.

She confided in pal Amy Wyatt about how she couldn’t feel anything while sleeping with Luke – despite him being perfect in every way.

And she resolved to end things with the hunk instead of allowing it to continue.

“You’re not making this easy for me are you,” she said as he handed over a bunch of flowers for her.

Going back to the cottage, Luke told her: “Look Vic before you say anything I know last night was a big deal and it would have been a big deal anyway even if it wasn’t for, you know.

“And I don’t expect things just to be fine now, in fact I don’t expect anything.”

Victoria replied: “It’s not that last night was bad, far from it but I need to be honest with you. First of all I want you to know that this isn’t about you, it really isn’t.

“But last night wasn’t, I just can’t. Not with anyone. It felt like it was happening to someone else. I’m really sorry. I wanted it to work, I really did, so much.”

As Luke told her he would wait as long as she needed, she cut him off.

She said: “Please don’t make this any harder. You’ve been great, you really have but you’re right – it’s just too soon for me to have any kind of relationship. I’m sorry Luke, but it’s over.”

The emotional scenes left viewers upset.

One wrote: "No Victoria breaking up with Luke was not what I wanted to happen. #Emmerdale."

A second said: “Poor Luke and Victoria they make a good couple."

Another added:  "Omg. How daft is Victoria in @emmerdale ?!? Letting someone go as lovely as Luke. Stupid."
