Emily Atack baffles The Cube viewers as they spot unusual habit with mum
Emily Atack left viewers baffled as they spotted her unusual habit on tonight's Christmas celebrity special of The Cube.
The 31-year-old Emily Atack Show star took part in the gameshow alongside her actress mother, Kate Robbins.
They played to win big money for their chosen charity, The Ben Kinsella Trust.
During the show, viewers quickly noticed that the Inbetweeners star called her mother Kate "mummy".
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts, as one wrote: "Anyone over the age 11 calling their mum "mummy" cringes me out…"
While another wrote: "Why does Emily say, mummy?"
A third added: "Petition to ban grown adults calling their parents Mummy and Daddy".
Others weren't phased by Emily referring to Kate as "mummy", as one penned: "Congratulations Emily and mummy…£20,000 for the Ben Kinsella Charity."
Another gushed: "YES! So proud of Emily Atack on The Cube. She looks insane."
After successfully completing an impressive number of challenges on the show, the pair began to struggle.
They had made a staggering £20,000, and decided to take the money rather than risk losing it by carrying on.
Viewers were thrilled for the mother and daughter duo, and showered them with congratulatory messages.
One said: "Well done @KateRobbins and @EmAtack on the cube."
Another said: "Well done both of you, what a fab amount for a great charity."
"A fantastic effort. Well done Emily and Kate", exclaimed a third.
