Nancy (played by Maddy Hill) suffers from epilepsy and occasionally has severe fits. In upcoming EastEnders episodes, Nancy is enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit with Mick (Danny Dyer), but manipulative Janine (Charlie Brooks) has her eye on the married landlord. As the BBC soap villain distracts him, Nancy could suffer an epileptic fit, but who will come to her aid as Janine is intent on seducing Mick?
Official spoilers for the BBC soap reveal that Mick and Janine will begin preparing for their upcoming pub event, Best Spouse In The ‘Ouse.
A flirtatious Janine helps Mick with the Christmas celebrations at The Vic but a concerned Nancy and Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) watch on.
The event later gets underway, and Janine deliberately tries to make Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) look silly before they go head to head.
Later at the pub, Janine is provocatively dressed up as Santa’s Little Helper but fails to get Mick’s attention – much to Nancy’s amusement.
Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) arrives with the presents for the kids but as they begin to open them, Mick and Janine quickly realise the gifts are awful, forcing them to spend more time together to try to fix the issue.
Janine gets some bad news when her daughter Scarlett Butcher (Tabitha Byron) arrives with Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).
The pair give her a gift but end up telling her Scarlett will be spending Christmas with the Slaters.
Feeling hurt, Janine overhears Mick on the phone and realises he’s not spending Christmas with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
She takes the opportunity to open up to him about how upset she is about not seeing Scarlett.
Comforting her, Mick encourages Janine to do something about it.
Trying to get Mick to herself, Janine schemes and convinces Zack Hudson (James Farrar) that Nancy still likes him and he should ask her out.
Meanwhile, Janine is dressed up as Mrs Claus, enlisting Ollie Cater’s (Harry Farr) help, she is hellbent on making it a perfect day for Scarlett.
Since she began working at The Vic, Janine has seemed interested in Mick.
When Mick returned from his time away from Walford and discovered Janine had started working at the pub, there seemed to be an instant spark between them.
On the same day, Mick was stressed out by nancy and Frankie Lewis’ (Rose Ayling-Ellis) constant arguing.
Mick told them: “Living away from Linda and the baby won’t be easy but I’ve got to do it.
“I’ve got to do it for Ollie because he misses his friends, he misses his teachers, he misses his routine.
“I thought I’d bring him back here for a bit of stability and I come in and I’ve got you two cranks smashing the gaff up.”
“She threw a drink in my face,” Nancy remarked and Janine commented: “Which was hysterical by the way.”
The landlord then turned his attention to Janine: “Who are you and what are you doing in my pub?”
Janine and Mick chatted as she filled him in on what he’d missed.
“The only good they did while you were away was hiring me,” she added.
He agreed to let her work behind the bar, and ever since she seems to take every opportunity she can to be around him.
But while Janine takes away Mick’s attention next week, could Nancy end up in trouble?
It’s possible Zack will ask Nancy to meet up and, not ready to forgive him, she might refuse to talk to him.
Realising Janine has been interfering, she may storm off to find out what she’s up to.
After leaving Zack though, Nancy could suffer an epileptic fit.
With nobody around to help, she could be in real danger.
Could Nancy end up in hospital before Mick realises something has happened to his daughter?
EastEnders continues on Monday at 8pm on BBC One.
